Book Clubs

The monthly student book club chooses a book from the Abe Lincoln list of nominees. We then come together to discuss what we thought.

 

We meet the last Friday of each month in Mrs. Houston's Room 203 from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm. This month's treat is pizza!

Book Pick is

This year we will join the national craze with our Silent Book Club. This is open to any lover of books and requires nothing more than to bring a book with you or pick one up at our library. 

For the first 10 minutes, if you want, you can briefly:

• Give the title and author of the book

• Explain what you read so far or why you chose the book

Then for the rest of the meeting, you silently read for pleasure. That's it!​

We meet EVERY MONDAY in the LIBRARY from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, come whenever you want!

Teachers and Staff get together every month do discuss a book. Anyone can recommend a book and be the lead of the discussion. Some of the book choices have included:
