Research: Noodle Tools

Noodle Tools is a research management platform set up by a teacher. The assignment or project is a workplace that allows the student to set up working notecards, source cards, outlines, and works cited in real time that both the student and teacher can look at.

Regina's subscription databases: EBSCO, GALE and JSTOR all integrate with Noodle Tools. 

With all the issues of AI, Noodle Tools promotes the skills to become an ethical researcher allowing students to become confident critical thinkers, writers, and researchers.

Regina has a subscription with Noodle Tools. To get started, teachers and students can:

  1. Go to https://my.noodletools.com/logon/signin?domain=rdpanthers.org

  2. Click the "Google" button on the NoodleTools login screen

  3. Or Click the NoodleTools button in the Google "waffle" menu

You can create notecards from your source, whether it is a direct quotation, paraphrase or a summary!!

You can color code your notes. You can move them around. You can add quotes from sources that you can import directly from Gale, EBSCO, JSTOR.
Noodle Tools will also make sure to match up your Citations, too.

With Noodle Tools, you can use your notecards and quotes to create up an outline.
