How do I participate?

1. READ at least 4 of the 20 books featured on this page.
    

2. REVIEW the books you read by leaving a short review (3-6 sentences) of the book in the comment thread below. Comments are due March 10, 2023.
    

3. VOTE for your favorite book on the list along with other Illinois high school students by March 14, 2023. You will receive a survey on March 10, 2023.
    

4. Book Club will focus on the four books from the Abe Lincoln Challenge that were chosen by the student committee. Details upcoming.
